This is the new and improved Mammoth 1000 Air Purifier's filter. Instead of having to install multiple filters like before, Mammoth Air has combined all the filters into one.
It is a direct replacement of the current filters with improved airflow and filtration power. The HEPA filter is made of a new pleated material that traps 99.97 of particles smaller than 0.3 micro while allowing for more air to passes through per square inch.
The carbon filter is built directly behind the HEPA filter. The coarse and fine carbon particle on the filter is purposefully done to trap VOC, Pollens, Odor and much more while allowing for maximum lifespan and airflow.
In addition, the photocatalyic particles are now infused with the filter to work with the UV lamp in destroying germs and bacteria more effectively than before.
Because carbon and photocatalyic properties do break down over time, it is recommended that the packaging is not open until time of use and should be replaced every 6 months for maximum efficiency.
